A client of mine had a black English lab, who I was in love with for the longest time. I knew once I was ready for a puppy, I was giving Dunroamin’ a call.

I remember the day I reached out to Kristen, I was so excited to make my appointment.  A few days later, my son and I arrived at her kennel facility. Once the door was open, my eyes immediately went to a beautiful chocolate girl that she had. Her name was Rio. Little did I know, Rio was going to end up being my baby's mother!

Kristen was amazing during our appointment, answering all of the questions I had about the dogs. She took out every dog I asked to see, took her time and gave us her undivided attention during our visit. 

Seeing the temperaments of her dogs really allowed me to see that one of her dogs was the best decision for my family. I knew immediately that I made the right choice. I arranged to be put on her waiting list that very day!

 I will never forget the day I received the “puppies have been born” notification. Four weeks later, I saw the first picture of my chocolate boy! Bruno was real and I couldn't wait. Two weeks later, my family went to meet our puppy at Kristen’s "Meet Your Puppy Day". At this event, we were able to meet our baby and spend some time getting to know him, while Kristen told us everything we needed to know about life with our new puppy. This was the best thing ever! 

Two weeks later, Bruno was ready to come home. I was so happy with my first chocolate boy, I went back to Dunroamin' a year and a half later to get him a sister! Bruno and Luna are the best of friends. Kristen has always been available to my family for any questions or training tips that we have needed over the past three years, and I know she will be with me throughout their entire lives.
